South Shore Beach Cleanup – Thursday July 16th

Hello friends,

Please join us for a public Adopt-a-Beach™ cleanup at South Shore Beach.

When: Thursday July 16th, 5:30 to 7:00pm – anytime you can help during this time is great.
Join us to help make South Shore Beach clean, meet friends and have fun!

Meet on the paved trail at the large anchor near the northeast corner of the Park Pavilion. South Shore Park Pavilion is located at 2900 S. Shore Drive, Milwaukee.

We need all the help we can get. No experience is necessary. Gloves and recycled trash bags will be provided. Bring your own bucket or recycled bag to reduce waste. Thanks for your help in advance!

Thanks to all of you who have been involved in our long-term project to make South Shore Beach cleaner, safer, and better for everyone.

Milwaukee County Parks and I have some very exciting news to share on upcoming beach improvements. I invite you to attend apublic information meeting December 2 from 5:30-7 pm at South Shore Pavilion. Markyour calendar and invite your friends and neighbors who want to get involved in improving our district’s greatest asset.

When: Monday, December 2 5:30-7 pm

Where: South Shore Park Pavilion–2900 S. Shore Dr.

You can RSVP or share the Facebook event here. This public meeting will feature design concepts, construction, and funding updates–and your input. I am eager to share County plans and to hear your ideas as we work together to improve this incredible resource.
